St. Christopher's Hotel Review
On a quiet street near the Banquitos House of Culture and backing up on the New River, this family-run hotel has simple but clean rooms, with tile floors and brightly colored bedspreads, at reasonable rates. It's owned by the Urbina family, one of the oldest and largest families in the area, with roots in Orange Walk dating back to the early 1800s. Of the hotel's 25 rooms, 20 have air-conditioning. The 10 rooms in the new garden annex are the best choices. The back gardens are attractive and alive with tropical plants, and you can relax in a thatch palapa with picnic tables next to the river.
