Caving
Easily accessible in the Cayo is the Río Frio Cave (. You can also do trips to Barton Creek Cave, about 8 mi (13 km) northwest of Mountain Pine Ridge entrance gate, off Mountain Pine Ridge Road, and to Actun Tunichil Muknal from Mountain Pine Ridge. Hidden Valley Inn has two caves open only to guests of the inn.
