Moonracer Farm Review

This small lodge combines down-home friendliness, a comfortably rustic setting, and lots of outdoor activities, all at a modest price. Owners Tom and Marge Gallagher, from New York state, bought this 50-acre farm in 2007 and have been working to turn it into a low-key spot to enjoy nature. The duplex wood cabins have handmade furniture and beds. The lodge is off the grid, and part-time power comes from a diesel generator and lighting is from kerosene lamps and candles, but there is there is satellite Internet. You can hike, ride horses, and go birding on the farm, and the Mountain Pine Ridge is just a short walk away. Dogs welcome. Marge cooks delicious meals, and a full meal plan is BZ$60 per person per day.
