Marie Sharp's Factory
Marie Sharp's Factory Review
You can visit the source of one of Belize's few well-known exports, Marie Sharp's Hot Sauce. The small factory, with about 20 workers, established and still run by Marie Sharp and family, is open to interested visitors weekdays, but for a factory tour it's best to call ahead at least a day in advance. Marie Sharp's main office is in Dangriga (3 Pier Rd., 522-2370), where there is a small shop. Her products also are sold in nearly every grocery in Belize.
