Sanchiri Mirador Review

Just beyond the town of Paraíso on the road to Orosi is the Sanchiri Mirador, a restaurant/bar with excellent food and one of the valley's best miradores (lookout points). But our favorite vantage point is at a point on the road just beyond Sanchiri where the earth appears to drop away and the valley comes into view as you make the steep descent to the town of Orosi. Here's a case for letting someone else do the driving. A little farther along, there's free parking at the Orosi Mirador, a public park with spectacular views, sheltered picnic tables and grills, and a children's playground. There are some steep steps to climb but the views—and the clean restrooms—at the top are worth it.
