Three indigenous-inspired circular palenque (indigenous huts) buildings with palm-thatch roofs house ample-size rooms with pre-Columbian-style decor and are part of the Centro Neotrópico Sarapiquís, an environmental educational center, museum, and garden. The eco-friendly surroundings reflect the center's commitment to sustainability, and for a fee, guests have access to a botanical garden, forest preserve, and other facilities.
