Fodor's Review:
How windy is it? Even with glass buffers and windbreak trees and shrubs, the large swimming pool usually has waves. This sprawling collection of villas and poolside rooms with bathtubs and king-size beds is bordered by a nearly 1-km-long (½-mi-long) beach with coarse brown sand flecked with sharp broken shells. Bird- and wildlife-filled estuaries hem in the beach. Jobo and Rajada beaches are just a short drive or hike away. The hotel organizes activities and tours, but many entail a jolting ride to La Cruz and beyond. The restaurant serves good food.
