On a grassy point between Río Agujitas and the ocean, this resort has the best views of Drake Bay. It's also kid-friendly, with a pool, open ground for romping, and tidal pools to explore. Keep an eye out for precocious squirrel monkeys. The wooden cabins are camp-style, three rooms to a building. But with hot water, tile bathrooms, and carved animal bedposts supporting firm queen-size beds, this is comfortable camping. Kayaks are at your disposal. Most guests come to see the rain forest, but you can also opt for mangrove, scuba diving, sportfishing, and dolphin- and whale-watching tours. Minimum stay is three nights.
