An obligatory stop even if it's just for a cup of coffee, this open-air restaurant next to the road between Atenas and Jacó is a great spot to enjoy the view of steep hillsides covered with coffee trees. The best view is from the long countertops with stools that line the edge of the building, but the wooden tables and chairs might be more comfortable. The food is a mix of Costa Rican and Mexican cuisine, including burritos, chicken with rice, and sopa azteca (a tomato-based soup). The restaurant's own brand of coffee is sold by the pound.
