The greatest asset of this rustic place is its amazing view, from a hillside high above the valley. The large open-air restaurant ($-$$), partially enclosed by windows, has simple wooden chairs, flowery table-cloths, and a menu dominated by Costa Rican standards such as arroz con pollo (rice with chicken). Twelve modern rooms were built in early 2005 to go with 10 older wooden cabins. All of the new rooms have the view, but only 3 of the cabins do. The rooms themselves are nothing spectacular, but waking up to the view is well worth the modest price.
