This resort has the best sea views hereabouts and is one of the best dive resorts in the country. New owners are well on their way to reviving this fading beach queen. The rooms with the best views are on the hilltop, but they are a little cramped with too much furniture. Down the hill to the beach, comfortable triangular bungalows each have two separate large suites that share a semiprivate pool. Swimming pools dot the property; be prepared, though, for a steep hike to the biggest one down at the beach. The food in the recent past has been lamentable, but a new chef has updated the menu with Mediterranean and Asian flavors. The breakfast buffet is a little pricey ($10) but the made-to-order omelets and fluffy waffles are worth it. And you get to enjoy it all on a terrace with a spectacular 360-degree view.
