Hacienda Barú
Hacienda Barú Review
A leader in ecotourism and conservation, Hacienda Barú offers spectacular bird-watching and excellent naturalist-led hikes, as well as a turtle-protection project and nature-education program in the local school. You can stay at the cabins and poolside rooms or on platform tents in the jungle, or just come for the day to walk the forest and mangrove trails, zip through the canopy on cables, climb trees, or stake out birds on an observation platform.
