Playa Dominicalito

Playa Dominicalito Review

About 1 km (½ mile) south of Playa Dominical, this wide beach is usually calmer and more suited to boogie boarding. There are hidden rocks near the shore, so the best time to swim is at low tide. This is one of the best walking beaches, with lots of shade under tall palms and beach almond trees. The sun sets behind a huge rocky outcropping topped with tiny palm trees. There is a campground running parallel to the beach, which is popular with locals, especially during Easter, Christmas, and school holidays. Amenities : parking. Best for: sunset; walking.
