Oro Verde Private Nature Reserve
Oro Verde Private Nature Reserve Review
You'll find excellent bird-watching and hiking in the Oro Verde Private Nature Reserve, uphill from the Costanera at Km 159. Family run, this property has well groomed trails through a majestic, primary forest reserve. Early-morning, three-hour birding tours ($30) end with a hearty home-cooked breakfast. There are also three- to four-hour morning horseback tours to a waterfall, including lunch ($35).
