La Casa de Don David Review
Owners Don David Kuhn and his wife, Doña Rosa, have lived in the area for almost 30 years, and are a great source of travel tips. The hotel's Web site also has a wealth of information on the area. Rooms are simple and clean, with private baths, and some have air-conditioning. La Casa is known for its second-story restaurant, which has good home cooking. One meal is included in the room rate—you can choose to have breakfast or dinner here. The hotel offers good, well-priced tours to Tikal, Yaxha, El Mirador, and other sites.
