Tamarindos
Tamarindos Review
Asian and Italian tastes dominate at one of Guatemala City's best restaurants, Tamarindos, where Paris-trained chef Milly Bruderer serves up innovative, decidedly eclectic fare ranging from duck in tamarind sauce to Thai-style curries. Curlicue lamps and whimsical sofas that seem straight out of Alice in Wonderland bring a touch of postmodernism. It's an exhilarating destination for dinner, but the reasonably priced lunch menu also makes this an excellent choice during the day. The extensive wine list includes choices from around the globe.
