Visitor Information and Tours
There are no tourist offices in Las Verapaces, but most tour operators can provide information on area attractions and arrange tours. Aventuras Turísticas, Maya'ch Expeditions, and Cobán Travels organize tours of Cobán and the region, including the Grutas de Lanquín and Semuc Champey. Proyecto Ecológico Quetzal also specializes in tours of the area, and can arrange homestays with indigenous Q'eqchí families.
