Bullfights
The season runs from about the first week of January to Easter, and corridas (bullfights) are held on Sunday at 5:30. Tickets are available through your hotel or at the window in the Plaza de Toros (Av. Circunvalación, Fracc. Las Playas, Playa Caleta. 744/482-9561) Monday-Saturday 10-2 and Sunday 10:30-5. Tickets in the shade (sombra) -- the only way to go -- cost about $22. Preceding the fight are performances of Spanish dances and music by the Chili Frito band.
