Two minutes from the zócalo, this charming, colonial-style hotel surrounds a greenery-rich courtyard with an outdoor dining area that's open only for breakfast. Rooms are small and by no means fancy, with painted brick walls, tile floors, wrought-iron beds, and ceiling fans. Every room has a shower, and there's plenty of hot water. The best rooms are on the second and third floors, as you can open the windows and fully appreciate the view; the top-floor room is large but hot in the daytime.
