Cancún Golf Club at Pok-Ta-Pok. Many hotels offer golf packages that can considerably reduce your greens fees at Cancún golf courses. Cancún's main golf course is at Cancún Golf Club at Pok-Ta-Pok. The club has fine views of both sea and lagoon; its 18 holes were designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. It also has two practice greens, three tennis courts, a pro shop, and a restaurant. The greens fees go from $145 to $175, and include your cart, food, and beverages; club rentals are $45, shoes $15. Paradisus Cancun. The 9-hole executive course at the new Paradisus Cancun forms a semicircle around the property and looks out onto the lagoon. The greens fee is $35, but the course is for the exclusive use of hotel guests. Iberostar Cancun. There's only one 18-hole championship golf course in Cancun and it's at the recently opened Iberostar. Lying along the Nichupté Lagoon, the course has a practice facility with driving range and putting green. The 16th hole overlooks the Mayan Ruinas del Rey. Moon Spa & Golf Club. Moon Spa & Golf Club has three 9-hole courses. The 18-hole greens fee, which includes a cart, food, and drink service, is $260. Playa Mujeres Golf Club. The newest course in Cancún is the Playa Mujeres Golf Club. Designed by Greg Norman, this 18-hole, par-72 course is within the 930-acre Playa Mujeres Resort in Punta Sam. Practice facilities include a driving range, two putting greens, and a short game area. You can also arrange for individual and group instruction. Greens fees run from $230 to $290. Puerto Cancún Golf. Puerto Cancún Golf, designed by Tom Weiskopf, is an 18 hole, championship golf course in Puerto Cancún that stretches out over 185 acres and has ocean views and two holes that play on the marina. Riviera Cancún Golf. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, this 18-hole golf course has ocean views and a Mexican-style clubhouse that's surrounded by mangroves. A 30% discount is available for guests of all Palace Resorts. All others pay $200 greens fees, or $120 after 2 pm.
