  An amazing hotel.
  I have stayed in some 5 star hotels before, but this could truly be the best of the best! The service here is incredible, facilities immaculate and so comfortable in every way...
  Stayed on the club level. Food and beverage were all very high quality and delicious, and we found it a good value, too. Often, we were too full from club offerings to go out to dinner...
  Can't rate it highly enough, wish I could afford to go back every year..
  In August, 2011, the beach was in beautiful condition.

  The Ritz-Carlton, Cancún Review

  The Ritz Carlton is a 5* star hotel. From the moment you enter the driveway until you leave the property you are treated like Royalty.
  
  The Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz go out of their way to make your vacation a wonderful and lifetime experience. I personally stay on the Club level. The door staff are waiting your arrival so your able to be whisked right to the 8th floor where the Club staff are waiting with cold cloths and drinks. Check in is approx. 5 minutes. I cannot say enough compliments about the Club Staff they are outstanding in every way. Truly a exception.
  
  The rooms all view the sea. That's a huge plus. The beds are fantastic and sometimes you just don't want to get out of them in the morning. Turn down service twice a day and a gourmet coffee machine in each room. The rooms are not the "tropical" design you might expect in Cancun. They are more of the traditional Ritz room you'd expect at any of their hotels in the world. But they are spotless and comfortable. All the great amenities. The bathrooms are all marble and I love that. Even a beach bag for your use.
  
  The food is amazing, period. Fresh! Fantastic! The Club serves 5 small meals a day. Enough for me to really not have to have a big meal. Sometimes I'd have dinner or have lunch at the beach restaurant. But I love to just lay out for a while. Go back to my room, shower off the sand and have lunch in the A/C. So that's perfect for me. And head out back to the pool and sleep it off.
  
  As I stated all the foods served at the Ritz are fresh and fantastic. Fruits, veggies and salads no worries. Baked goods all done right there. Every meal is a piece of art work. The workers put their heart into every meal they prepare. Sometimes I just want to sit and stare at the plate, I hate to mess up their work of art. I am in love with the brownies there and can't just eat 3 or 4. The Ceviche is so fresh and good. I eat it everyday. I'm not real big on Calamari so they make it special with no problem.
  
  When someone asks me what is my " favorite restaurant" my answer will always be The Club Grill at the Ritz Carlton Cancun. The Food and Service is amazing. And it's so Romantic. And the chocolate souffle is to die for. I love the pear salad, the pea soup and fish.
  
  When I can't sleep I think of the pool and beach at the Ritz it usually does the job of putting me to sleep. I think of the sea and the sound of it's lulla-by. That's what's so great about the Ritz the hotel is so close to the sea you can hear it. Most hotels in Cancun are HUGE, the Ritz has 365 rooms (don't quote me on that one)it's a little more intimate and more personalized service.
  
  One of the great things about the Ritz is the little market across the street. It has the best Taco's in Cancun. And you can buy little things like bottled water, pepsi and chips. All the cops, taxi drivers and beach hustlers hang out there. You buy the taco's at the register, walk outside had the receipt to the dude cooking the Taco's and sit outside at the picnic bench and enjoy.
  
  The Ritz now has 2 beach area's. One with the 2 pools. The one pool are is mostly families and younger crowd. The smaller pool seems to be for older people like myself. The other beach area is near the spa has no pool and is palapas and a beautiful bar made out of wood that I believe maybe teak. Just gorgeous.
  
  When I was there last Dec. The Momma Turtles were coming onto the beaches to lay their eggs and the Ritz had a program set up the have the Guests help with the turtles. After the Momma's got done with laying the eggs, the Turtle expert would count the eggs and move them to an area that was set up for them with dates and info. So the Adults and Kids got a great educational experience. Me too.
  
  I love the Ritz. I have been there several times. I have stayed at many other hotels in Cancun over 20 years, but I always go back to the Ritz. And I won't stay anywhere else.
  
  They have have some great specials going on right now. $359.00@night. 2 Buffet Breakfasts and 100.00 credit a night. WOW that is AWESOME.

  Always a Pleasure

  My husband and I enjoy a getaway here every winter. We do stay in a suite on the club level, so that takes away a lot of variables. We have noticed that it gets stuffy at night if it is warm. I think they turn the AC off. The staff is very pleasant. It's a shame that the white sand all washed away in the hurricane.

  Pricey but very nice

  We were there Aug. 2-7, 2007. Our stay was lovely. The service and staff were fantastic. Yes, the prices were very high. We did the Tequila and Wine Tastings--they were fabulous--it was fun and we learned alot. We had 2 children- 19 and 22yrs. old with us. They were disappointed that there were not alot of people their age there. Alot of 12 and under, but they went out to other places and had fun.

  Ritz Carlton The best in Cancun

  My Husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Ritz in Cancun after the reopening in December. We have stayed here several times before. The Hotel looks fantastic. Everything is brand new and the service and staff are outstanding.
  Yes, the ritz is expensive. Yes, some may feel the prices are very high and can't justify paying the money. However, the old saying goes....You get what you pay for! The best. Every drink, meal and dessert were perfect. The food is so good, fresh and presentation made the food look beautiful. We stayed on the Club level and they have 5 presentations of food through out the day. Each one is really good and had many choices to try. If there is something special you'd like, it wold be their pleasure.
  The grounds of the Hotel are getting lush and back to normal. They have re planted several palm trees. The flowers were blooming and it was green everywhere. The pool are is lovely. They now have bed pool loungers and I really fell in love with those. The service around the pool is outstanding. The pool staff set you up where you'd like, plush towels on the loungers and great service the whole time. I recommend the beach restaurant. The food is very good and the view is to die for.
  I would love to get back there ASAP! I'm saving my money.
