Los Aluxes Review

Right on the water's edge, Los Aluxes offers comfortable rooms and lovely views, but the staff have yet to fully comprehend the hospitality industry. The hotel's manicured gardens lead to an enormous palapa restaurant beside a private dock and swing set suspended over the water. Room decor is a jumbled mess of colors and styles, from Mexican to tribal, but every room has air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. Room 4 is slightly cheaper since it lacks an ocean view, and only four of the rooms have private balconies with hammocks. The hotel has two boats available for tours.
