From Villahermosa, take Carretera 180 for 23 kilometers (14 miles) toward Heroica Cárdenas, where you will take Carretera 187, heading north to Comalcalco, for about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles). The entire trip is approximately 75 kilometers (46 miles), and takes around 45 minutes by car.
