Gardens encircling the pool add a bit of nature to this family-friendly hotel. A mix of antiques and reproductions fills the public spaces. Rooms, recently renovated, provide marble baths with small tub, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and natural lighting; those in the tower have city views. (Ask for a room near the back; those near the playground can be noisy.) Some rooms have a "Sleep Advantage" program, whose amenities include hypoallergenic furnishings, special pillows, and eye masks. Packages including breakfast are available.
