Stay A While!
Guadalajara's hotel operators and tourism officials regularly lament the fact that foreign tourists average just two days in their city. Rightly, they point out that visitors can spend at least a week in and around the City of Roses. Unless you've got afterburners on your shoes, it will take at least three days to do justice to the historic district and the artisan hubs of Tonalá and Tlaquepaque, and to savor the region's unique food, drinks, and festivals.
