Hotel Secreto Review

It's beautiful. It's famous. It's très chic. As one of the island's only luxury boutique hotels, this modern property has a long infinity pool surrounded by daybeds and lounge chairs. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, veiled king-size four-poster beds, and balconies overlooking Half Moon Bay. Mexican artwork looks bold against the predominantly white color scheme, and a small, intimate dining room sits alongside the pool. The rough waves and volcanic rock are not ideal for a day at the beach, but a five-minute walk will land you at Playa Norte. The most affordable rooms are on the ground floor. Although the sense of reserve makes it perfect for honeymoon couples who want to be alone, singles may find it too quiet, and families with children aren't made to feel welcome. The Hotel Secreto isn't much of a secret anymore, so sometimes it can be hard to get a reservation.
