The fine selection of Mexican wines and tequilas suits the stylish menu at this small restaurant, where murals of the Virgin of Guadalupe adorn bright orange walls. In his open kitchen, chef Armando Montaño uses chilies from all over Mexico to enhance traditional and continental dishes (without heating up the spice), coating rack of lamb with ancho chile and perking up lobster bisque with smoky chiles guajillos.

Inventive, surprising, fabulous

Possibly our favorite meal in Los Cabos. The restaurant and staff were lovely, and the food was outstanding. The preparations were inventive -- the house salad was even creatively prepared with fried hibiscus flowers and vanilla - a revelation in a salad. Pork enchiladas and fish mole of the day were both excellent, as were desserts. The scallop appetizer was the runaway hit. Don't miss it.
