Fodor's Review:
The brown low-rise faces the malecón and has been a center of activity since 1940. Rooms have white walls and light-wood furnishings; some have king-size beds. The pool is on a second-story sundeck, away from main street traffic. Noise is a factor in the oceanfront rooms; the trade-off is wonderful sunset views.
