$$-$$$, East Cape
Fodor's Review:
Tile-roof bungalows sit along flower-lined paths next to pools, fountains, and lawns. Some rooms have private terraces. The fishing fleet is excellent, as are other diversions, such as diving, snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding, and trips to natural springs. Hot springs run underneath the hotel; the water is cooled and pumped through the hotel. A European plan (without meals) is available from November through March, which cuts the rate considerably. The food is decent.
