Listen for the blaring Beatles' tunes to find Gordo's tiny sidewalk stand. His tacos and tortas (sandwiches) are made with loving care, and his fans are loyal enough to chow down on their feet as there are only two small plastic tables by the stand. You can have two or three ham and cheese tortas for the price of one elsewhere.

A must do lunch
Posted by davidandjill from Alberta on 1/27/08
We first made the trek to see Gordo at a back-home neighbour's insistance a few years ago. We were wowed. Just got back from Cabo this morning. Our fried ham and cheese and Gordo's belting out of both Beatles and Satchmo were one of the highlights of our trip. Look for him about 6 doors north of the Shrimp Factory on Boulevard Marina and Vicente Guerrero.

Gordo Lele's: Favorite for Ten Years
Posted by Jellomold from San Diego on 11/27/07
We've been coming here for 10 years and always have tortas for lunch at Gordo Lele's stand. They are the best!, made with fresh bread, meat, avocados and optional grilled peppers. We often get the tortas wrapped to go as well. His spot tucked between a dish shop and a knick knack store, across the street from the bazaar shacks. Javier is a sweet man and quite the entertainer. These mealtimes make for great photos and memories!

Best One Man Show
Posted by Renee from San Diego on 9/25/06
This is a small taco stand and a one man show. He sings along with the Beatles, & is amazing. Great food, great entertainment and a wonderful experience. We went once, and came back 4 times because of him. Across the street, u can get 3 for the price of 1, beer or margaritas. Take Javier one, and he will take good care of you.
