$$-$$$, Cabo San Lucas
Fodor's Review:
One of the oldest hotels in Cabo, the Finisterra is also one of the most modern, with two towers that rise directly from the beach. An eight-story palapa covers the restaurant and bar on the beach next to two free-form swimming pools. Rooms in the new buildings are by far the nicest and have oceanfront balconies. The stone buildings of the less-expensive older section of the hotel evoke fishing lodges. The restaurant is good, and the Whale Watcher bar atop a high cliff has the best view in town.
