Fodor's Review:
Start the day with coffee and French toast at this enduringly popular restaurant. The back patio quickly fills for every meal with a loyal clientele that enjoys the garden setting. The menu includes U.S. cuts of beef and imported seafood along with fajitas, chiles rellenos, and lobster -- always in demand. San José's nightlife scene revolves around the second-story bar. Latin bands and other musicians play nightly.
