Aggressive Time-share Salesmen

For some families who frequently like to get away to resorts, the time-share concept can be a good, and economical, way to vacation. Time-shares are a big business in Los Cabos, and the offers are incessant, especially as you walk through the town of Cabo San Lucas. Indeed, pushy, in-your-face time-share representatives at the airport and in many hotel lobbies will try to entice you to attend a presentation by offering free transportation, breakfast, and activities, or even attractive amounts of cash. These aggressive salespeople are a major downside to many expensive lodgings where you might assume that you won't be harassed. Don't feel obligated to accept—presentations often last two hours or more, and can be physically and emotionally draining. If you're staying in a hotel that has time-share units, aggressive salespeople may call your room every morning asking you to attend a free breakfast. If you're not interested, nicely demand to be taken off their call list.

If you want those time-share "sharks" off your back pronto, simply say "I live here"—and they'll leave you alone.
