Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa Review

Through the dramatic, drawbridge-like entry on the stone facade you'll find this seven-floor, all-suites combination hotel-time-share has it all. In addition to the standard one-, two-, and three- bedroom suites, there are 13 impressive penthouse suites, which range from 920 to 4,500 square feet. To relax, head to the 7,000-square-foot Saltwater Spa, where you can partake in such treatments as Chinese Ball Stimulating Massage and Couleur de Vie therapy, which combines color, aroma, and saltwater therapies. Casa Dorada's lounge offers a selection of 50 beers, including a signature mango-flavor brew; the 12 Tribes restaurant has creative dishes from just about every corner of the world.

Casa Dorada Los Cabos Resort & Spa Review

There is a 24% tax on your room rate. Prepare for that. Get a on the north side of the building or above the 2nd floor anywhere. In room wi-fi did not work any of the five days we were there. Hotel said the local provider is to blame. Food selections in the hotel are weak to average, but eats in the area are good and plentiful. If you order room service for breakfast, your tab will quickly be $20 pp. It is too much food. Order a la carte, save your dough and your gut. It is very hard to find this hotel if you drive there. But the hotel transfer is significantly over-priced. You can rent a car for half or less of the hotel transfer. The rental car places are very near the airport. The hotel parks your car for free. Try to get a decent map before you leave. The roads are good. There is a toll of 28 pesos ($2.50?). Great bar but it was generally little used. Pools were very nice. One heated and one not. Fantastic view of the bay and Land's End. Easy walk to downtown Cabo.
