Sunset Da Mona Lisa

Sunset Da Mona Lisa Review

Stunning views of El Arco from cocktail tables along the cliffs make this restaurant just outside of Cabo San Lucas the best place to toast the sunset. If the breeze is still, stay outside and enjoy dining alfresco; if not, move into the candlelit dining room under a palapa. Italian chef Salvatore Messina's menu offers traditional Italian fare like veal milanese and linguine with shellfish, but how does ravioli filled with seafood in white-truffle sauce sound? If you can't decide, go for the three-pasta sampler. For seafood, try the seared halibut with crunchy polenta and smoked organic vegetables. Or splurge on the Sea Lovers or Grand Mona Lisa tasting menus, which include five or seven courses, respectively. Make sure to check out the Mona Lisa's tile artwork flooring. If you arrive without a reservation, you can always head upstairs to the more casual Sunset Point, a wine and pizza lounge with daily tapas specials from 5 to 6 pm.
