With a delightfully electic menu, owner-chef Manuel Arredondo is giving Nick-San—a favorite restaurant in the Shoppes' at Palmilla—some serious competition. Start with duck empanadas or a goat cheese salad, then sample shrimp fettuccine with saffron, free-range chicken with orange habanero sauce, or a cacao and coffee marinated pork filet. Menu selections change daily depending on market availability, so if you're having trouble deciding on what's most appealing, the tasting menu lets you sample eight appetizer-size portions—an especially good option if you come here with a group.
