Galería de Arte Mexicano (GAM)
Galería de Arte Mexicano (GAM) Review
Founded in 1935, the GAM was the first place in Mexico City dedicated full-time to the sale and promotion of art (before its inception, there were no official galleries here). It has as played an important role in many Mexican art movements and continues to support the country's most important artists. GAM has also published noteworthy books; these works and catalogs are available at the gallery bookstore. It's just west of the Condesa neighborhood, toward the southern edge of Bosque de Chapultepec.
