Though this open-air restaurant looks touristy, and its surfer-centric location might set off warning bells, the Mexican food is remarkably consistent. Add to that friendly service, and the unusually late opening hours -- you can sit down for dinner at 11:45 PM -- and you've got a winning formula. Enfrijoladas, a satisfying mix of black bean, tortilla, and cheese usually served for breakfast, are served all day. The chiles rellenos, stuffed with picadillo (ground beef), are undeniably delicious.
