Chez Elena Review

Frequented in its heyday by Hollywood luminaries and the who's who of PV, this downtown restaurant still has a loyal following. The casual patio ambience is simple, but the wholesome food is satisfying, and the portions are generous. House specialties include fajitas and Yucatan-style pork. Elena's is also known for an eclectic signature dish, the Indonesian sate mixto, skewers of meat and chicken spiced with peanut sauce, as well as its killer handcrafted margaritas and its flaming coffee drinks.

    Loved it

    We LOVED this restaurant and are planning to visit again next week. It's so romantic. The service was great, warm, friendly. Food was good.

    old school

    It is true that this place has been around forever. It's still worth a trip for a drink at the lovely rooftop bar "El Nido". The food is pretty average and pricey though. Many better places these days.
