La Posada de Don Andrés Review

Although it was built in the 1950s, this New Orleans-style hotel feels a century older. Facing the Alameda and just steps from the public market, the hotel's wrought-iron-and-marble courtyard calls to mind a more refined era. The owner, who named the place after his late father, plays acoustic guitar and violin in the comfortable wood-paneled lobby upstairs.

    La Posada de Don Andres Review

    La Posada de Don Andres is a treasure for travellers who value the spirit of old Mexico. It is central, and the windows open over the plaza, so of course the sounds of the town can be heard...caballeros riding over cobblestones, towns-folk visiting. Jorge will charm you with his guitar playing and his stories, and you will feel at home. This village is a welcome respite from the hustle of the beach resorts. Classic colonial architecture and ambience.
