Holiday Inn Review
The most light-filled hotel in Mérida, the Holiday Inn has an open, center courtyard, and floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the colorful lobby and tiled dining room. Most rooms and suites face the courtyard (some face the parking lot) and have comfy canopy beds, large TVs, ironing boards, hair dryers, coffeemakers, and marble bathrooms. The pool area is lovely, and there's an outdoor barbeque area where Yucatan dishes are grilled most evenings. Be sure to ask about special rates, which can save you quite a bit. This is one of Mexico's nicest Holiday Inns.
