Yucatan and Campeche States Restaurants

La Tratto

La Tratto Review

For the last 20 years, this family-owned Italian restaurant has been a popular spot among locals. The bar is a nice place to have a drink and to watch the activity on the Paseo Montejo. Although the open design of the restaurant does make it a nice place to enjoy the cool evening weather, the food isn't spectacular, and prices are pretty high by Mérida standards. Still, the salads are generous, almost all of the thin-crust pizzas come with four cheeses, and there's usually some kind of deal on the excellent wine list (check their website for promotions). Happy hour is offered weekdays from 7-9 pm and Wednesdays you'll find 2-for-1 deals on pastas. Early birds may want to look elsewhere since this restaurant opens at 7 pm.
