Panamonte Inn & Spa Review

Opened in 1914, the Panamonte was long Boquete's only tourist hotel, and these folks still do things right a century later. You haven't been to Boquete unless you at least stop by the restaurant ($-$$) and wander the hotel's charming gardens. The honeymoon suite and Quetzal I room are bright and pleasant, but some standard rooms are cramped. The newer Garden Terrace Rooms offer more room and privacy and have front porches with furniture handcrafted by local artisans. The fireside lounge is a great spot to hang out, and the hotel has a wellness spa.
