Punta Patiño Lodge Review

This eco-lodge inside the Reserva Natural Punta Patiño sits on a hill with views of secondary forest and the sea. Its wooden bungalows are the Darién's nicest accommodations, with private (cold-water) showers, air-conditioning, and balconies with hammocks that are good bird-watching platforms. Hearty meals are served family-style in the old ranch house, which has a small bar. Ancon Expeditions offers four-night packages at the lodge that include transportation, guided hikes, a boat trip to Mogue, and access to a small beach. They need a minimum of four people for a tour to this remote spot.
