Panama City Restaurants

Elephant Grill Review

Although the low lighting and Chinese characters evoke an opium den, the pungent odors that waft through the air here are that of Asian spices such as ginger and lemongrass. Billed as a curry house, this is actually a pan-Asian restaurant with succulent dishes such as Misayaki marinated butterfish and Cambodian loc lac beef (beef marinated in lime juice) to complement such favorites as Maassamm shrimp curry. The decor is subtle, with pastels, bamboo, and large fans hanging from the wooden rafters. You should make a reservation for dinner on weekends.
