You can't top this small hotel's location, on a ridge overlooking stunning Playa Cacique, just steps away from the beige sand and turquoise waters, but the "romantic" decor of guest rooms—giant hearts, or bas-relief Grecian nudes—may be too much for some travelers. Rooms in the main building have ocean views, and varied themes—Hawaii, Panama, Castle—reflected by their murals, and decor. They can be musty. The "Hawaii" rooms and "Panorama suite" offer the best combinations of sea views and privacy. The two "Panorama rooms" share a bathroom. The "Romantic" and "Kalif" rooms overlook the gardens and mini-golf course. The bright honeymoon suite, perched over the beach, has the most privacy, and the best view of all. The restaurant ($-$$) has an ocean view and good food, ranging from chateaubriand to fresh lobster, or fish served various ways.
