$$-$$$, French, Plateau Mont-Royal
Fodor's Review:
You probably know people whose dining rooms are larger than the Bistro Bienville. Twenty people will fill it, and that includes a handful sitting at the counter overlooking the postage-sized kitchen where a couple of very young and very enthusiastic chefs cheerfully crank out reasonably priced versions of such classics as calamari, sweetbreads, and roast duck. Dishes are sized (and priced) so that two make a meal.
