Fodor's Review:

When the four-story Haslett Warehouse was a fruit-and-vegetable canning complex in 1907, boats docked right up against the building. In a unique partnership with the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, the hotel's decor is now nautical chic -- anchors, ropes, compasses, and a row of cruise-ship deck chairs in the lively lobby. Spacious rooms, many with a sofa bed in the sitting area, have exposed-brick walls, wood-beamed ceilings, and whitewashed wooden furniture that evokes a beach mood. Windows are open to the sea air and the sounds of the waterfront, and many have clear views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. Suites come with extra deep whirlpool tubs and telescopes for close-up views of passing ships.

We had a large, well equiped and bright room which was very clean and well maintained. There was some noise from the street and the public areas are somewhat cramped but overall good value. The location is fairly good too but it can be take some time to get to other parts of town. The service is a bit hit and miss.
