Burger Joint. Cross the threshold here and you're back in the days of sock hops and big Chevy sedans. Dressed in red and turquoise, with checkered floors and comfy booths, the retro Burger Joint serves Niman Ranch beef burgers, thick and creamy milk shakes, big root beer floats, and crisp, stocky fries. Every burger comes with tomatoes, lettuce, onion, and pickles, a toasted sesame bun, and a pile of fries. Cheeseburger partisans can dress up their patties with American, cheddar, Swiss, or Monterey jack. Nonbeef eaters can opt for veggie or chicken-breast burgers.
