$$-$$$, South Beach/Miami Beach
Fodor's Review:
For those who like the Ocean Drive scene but quickly tire of art deco, there is Blue Moon. Designed to resemble a European estate rather than a 1930s box, the Blue Moon looks and feels nothing like other nearby boutique hotels, and service here tends to be more reliable. Rooms, though not huge, are airy and free of trendiness. The Blue Moon has joined the boutique Coral Collection chain, but it remains a quirky marriage of deco and Mediterranean styles. Pro: In Collins Avenue's upscale shopping district. Cons: Mandatory amenity charge and no gym.
